Is it safe to disclose information like my phone number, address and full name to seventeen.com?

I wasn to enter for freebies but I've always been apprehensive about giving that information to websites....

Not if the magazine publishes it.  But they shouldn't do that without your written consent.

well this is just me,,i never give any info on myself everything is false,,,i dont even give them the right country were i live,,,,,, but i have never wanted to  send or recieve anything on the net,,,,,,,,i only have emails an accounts

I think it's a bad idea-even if they're trustworthy you're setting

yourself up for a truckload of future spam. Advertisers pass

that kind of information around. If you're on one list,you end up being on all of them.

Magazines and official businesses that you know for sure are legit are ok to do this with but you should always be wary of giving out this stuff on the internet, you don't want it getting in the wrong place.
