I have a water bottle that I opened about a week ago. It rolled under my bed and I just found it today. Is it safe to drink still?

  1. I have many times worried about the same thing lol

  2. I would most deffinatly think so, if it hasnt been opened. If it was opened, i wouldnt drink it. During school i leave water bottles in my locker for afterschool activites just incase i dont have time to run to 7-11. I left one that had been opened in my locker for a week and a half, and it tasted terrible lol.

  3. The chlorine leaves the water in a couple days, and if anything is in there it will start growing. Safe is a relative term. I would have second thoughts about drinking it, but I drink water that has been in my car for days.

  4. its okay i guess.

    but i wouldn't drink it.

    water can collect bacteria!

  5. not really cuz bacteria could have grown in it.

  6. Yes it's just water, and the plastic won't break down in one week.

  7. throw it out, better safe than sorry.

its not like you cant afford another (:

  8. It would probably be safer to throw it out because after you drink from a bottle you contaminate it with the bactria in your mouth. With a bottle sitting in a dark area for a week the bactria could of multiplied and making the water unsafe to drink. So, best bet is to throw it out. Get a glass of fresh water and have a great night. God bless!

  9. i'm glad you asked this question; because i have been wondering the same for a long time.

but i guess it's ok to drink it ,after seating there a week.
