Question:

Is it safe to drive, text, and drink at the same time?

I know I'm not supposed to drink and drive, and I'm also not supposed to text and drive, but what about drinking, texting, and driving all at the same time?

Drinking makes me less focused, but texting makes me more focused, so they pretty much cancel each other out. I mean, it's not like I'm drinking while I'm texting. I drink first and then send the text message.

  1. I think to be safe you should add cocaine to the mix,it will help you avoid sending sappy texts when drinking and it will also help you get to your destination faster!

  2. thats a pretty stupid thing to do

  3. Yes you are a merry prankster aren't you, Merry Prankster? However, I believe I see a faint glimmer in the gloom here.

What if you were in fact driving to church, or at least the Thursday prayer meeting. What if you were drinking, well, sucking, the last dregs of last Sunday's communion wine unaccountably sponged up by your holy beard. And suppose you were texting a high prelate of the one true chuch, making your pledge of a huge stack of Euros towards the church-roof repair fund.

Well, if God isn't sitting right there in the car with you, guiding you safely down the highway, fending off speed and sobriety cops at every turn so you may continue his holy work unhindered by quotidian, workaday concerns, then what we should be asking ourselves is, what is God REALLY all about, with all that ubiquitousness and omnicience of his. And what is his REAL plan for humanity?

  4. Iti is unsafe. Cause your mind is on your texting not on driving. Anything that take your's eyes off the road is unsafe. You are a accdent waiting to happen.

  5. *chuckle*  I think you should throw in a bit of nose-hair trimming in there too.  THAT'S sure to keep things balanced.

  6. Oh come on guys look at his picture..do you think he can GET a license??? He has to be talking about bumper cars they have at the institution

  7. Do one thing at a time,  and do it well.     Quit being an idiot with your silly rationalizations.

  8. Sure, I just drive with my knees so I can hold my beer and my phone and not have to put anything down.  Just make sure you glance up like once every minute and a half or so.

  9. It depends on whether you have one of those full keyboard phones or not.  If you are doing the classic one-thumb text, it's perfectly safe.  If you're trying to hunt and peck 2 handed, or worse yet, type using homerow and all that jazz, you probably won't be able to drive very well.

  10. Yes, but be careful.  Last time I tried that I accidentally drank the battery acid from my phone and tried to push the letters on my beer bottle's label.

  11. sure its safe. ask your local policeman to be sure.

  12. I think your name "Merry Prankster" pretty much gives this away as a question intended to p**s people off. It's not pissing me off, but I'm not laughing either. It's just kinda lame....

  13. NO THAT'S NOT A VERY SMART THANG TO DO BECAUSE U CAN GET HURT OR KILLED OR YOU CAN KILL AN INOCENT PERSON AND THAT WOULD BE VERY SAD

  14. it's bad you might crash into something and have an accident

  15. only if you are using your knees to steer the car... at least that's what I do...

  16. You can as long as u have your Radio on full blast.

  17. Yes, IF you have somebody in the passenger seat to hold the bong.

  18. So your the one that almost hit my car today. Please stop texting and drinking while driving before you kill someone.

  19. Where do you live so I can stay off the roads, good luck.

  20. Only in your dreams.
