Is it safe to drive a vehicle that has four different brands of tires?

The sizes are the same but all four tires are made by different manufactures. Is it safe to drive this car?

No,, Because Tires Work PErfectuly Fine If all The Same or esle Its wouldnt be Used To the New ones & wont Run as Well Or Stop As Well Beacause of the Brandd :)

They'd be safe if they're good tires, ie, not worn out etc.

They should all be the same size, or at least the same outer diameter.

You're also better off with doth front tires the same and both rear tires the same.

You're best off with all four the same.

as long as their all the same size it doesn't matter and they have good tread on them,having different sizes though can be dangerous it cause a car not to handle like it was designed to handle and this makes it unsafe to drive,i see cars now though with many different brands of tires on them,as long as all are the same size its fine to drive like this,good luck.

Tires of different models and/or brands will have different tread patterns and possibly even different speed ratings and of course if mis-matched different amounts of wear so the performance may not be the same.

However, as long as you have matched pairs on each axle - the fronts match each other and the rears match each other - you should not have any significant problems.

Obviously it is ideal to replace all four at the same time. In my experience people who replace all four at the same time get better life out of there tires because they tend to take better care of them.

There are times however where this is not possible/practical.
