I know this type of weather is dangerous. I'm suppose to drive 100 - 150 miles tomorrow with these weather conditions. Would anyone feel safe driving? Should I go to my destination?

  1. Well, I wouldn't want to be on an isolated road, but as long as your car is trustworthy, and theres no snow, I wouldn't worry too much. Just do not rush.

  2. As long as there's no precipitation, it wouldn't deter me.  You car *is* heated, right?  And it has windows that roll up?  Yes.  So it's windproof and the wind chill is insignificant while you are in the car.

Make sure to take some extra blankets and stuff JUST IN CASE you get stranded, and take mittens and gloves for when you have to get gas, get food, etc.

If the winds are GUSTY then bridges can be dangerous.

  3. no it is not good to drive in this type of weather but if you have to .  drive carefull and take your time ! dont speed or you will crash . and everything turns to ice ! even major highways !

  4. As long as your car is in condition (good anti-freeze,etc.) you should be fine. Always take a good blanket and small  survival kit just in case. Make sure your phone is charged. Oh yeah, don't wash your car before you go and get some de-icer windshield fluid.
