  3. Yes.

Just be careful and do not drive at night.

  4. Only if you're Spanish. American drivers don't have a prayer. We end up representing most of the road-kill in that Country. :)

  5. Yes its safe better if your driving left hand but only consider that if your staying otherwise for a holiday stick with what your use to.

remember on most roads you cannot turn left into oncoming traffic you turn right and wait till its clear and then move to your destination also at stop signs its compulsory to stop count to five and then if clear move off (very heavy fines).try these webs site they will help.

  6. Yes.

    Easy on the highways.

A little bit more complicated in the cities.

    Small cities: small narrow streets

Big cities: the above plus traffic!

  7. Non-Residents can drive in spain on a foreign driving license for a maximum of 6 months in the calendar year. EU residents can drive on their existing EU license until it runs outs. When it does run out you must apply for a Spanish driving licence. Non-EU residents must obtain a Spanish driving license after one year. See http://www.spain4uk.co.uk/retiring_guide... for more details

  8. I've driven many times in Spain.. its just as safe as anywhere else but i HIGHLY suggest you learn all the street and traffic signs and the rules of entering and exiting "rotundas" (mmm circular intersections).... many foreigners have accidents due to the fact they don't know how to interpret the signs meanings and also they have problems entering retondas........ most people drive stick shift,, actually many people never drive automatic so be aware if you see someone with a green L in the back window that means they are new drivers so don't put pressure on them if their car stalls and they can not drive faster then 80 km/h so don't beep at them to speed up
