Is it safe to shower with them or drink hot drinks with them on because there's steam?

  1. Is safe to certain extend. Hot drinks, shower in warm water is ok.


  2. In the case of showers, no. First, there's no assuring the quality of your water, the bacteria in your shower, or how 'hard' you local water is- all can impact your contacts in a less-than-incredible way- if you're going to be using any sort of soap, it's an absolute no.

    Hot drinks are fine, though. Unless you hold your eyes in front of the steaming pot for an hour.. it's pretty much impossible for the steam to cause any sort of damage.

  3. Shower, no. Hot drinks, not really. But remember not to stay near to barbeque sets or stoves. Contact lenses might melt while on the eyes :(
