people and.../companies sending me items I don't want and having to pay for these items?

Another ya-hooer gave me advice regarding couriers and told me to be very careful! has anyone had bad experiences?

  1. no it's not safe, wonder where they got your address from? just 'refuse' the goods ( the postman should have a supply of those red stickers), take note of senders details, contact your local trading standards office, change your courier account a.s.a.p. .


  2. Im sorry lily is not correct on this one.

    I use courier services on a regular basis, and if you ordered it and sign for receipt of it you are therefore charged accordingly.

    If you have not ordered it and it arrives, you simply do not sign for it.

    If someone else signs for it in a different country than you are via means of false purchasing, they will also have to sign for it.

    Your statement of charges will show you all charges made to your account, any of which you have not received and signed for will be included, you only pay for what you can account for.

    Keep your receipts for signing for products delievered.

    They are unable to collect money from you for a product or item that was never tracked to your address and signed for by you or an authorised person you stated upon sign up.

    OK, so dont worry, they can whistle till the cows come home, not your problem.

  3. aase is correct,  check your courier agreement states it all there.
