  1. Depends on whose mooning you...if it's a suspected serial killer, I'd stay clear & hide under my bed

  2. Why wouldn't it be?

I actually prefer the full moon as there is more light to see by outside at night, and it's quite beautiful to gaze at.

While it is believed that peoples' behavior might get a little whacky during the full moon, I would still find an outing during the full moon more favorable than a new moon when all is dark (and from a moon phase study I did for a couple years, I noticed that people tended to be more cranky and irritable during the new moon.)

  3. Actually, that's a funny question.  Though most will say that it is perfectly safe, there are a few strange coincidences that occur on nights with full moons.

Firstly, emergency rooms receive an increased number of injuries on nights with full moons.  They schedule additional staff for those evenings.  Maybe it's something magical or maybe people just go out more on nights with full moons because it's lighter.  Who knows...

Murders tend to be planned on on full mooned evenings.  Really, this was more before electricity.  The reason was that it was easier to sneak in, out and run away when there was more light.

There's a reason that the term Lunar is in lunatic.  And it is connected with the 28 day moon cycle and the 28 day menstrual cycle.  People used to believe that it was the moon that made women crazy, not nature :)

  4. Yes

  5. yes but beware of the werewolfs

just kiddig o course its safe

  6. why wouldn't it be?

  7. NO NO NO!! NEVER EVER EVER

    IS IT SAFE!

And remeber to hold your buddies hand while crossing the street!

  8. Most of the time.  Just dont go down dark alleys in cities.  Or walk down a country road by yourself at midnight.

  9. No, that's when all the crazies come out. They say its a myth, but every time I'm out at night and I get a creepy vibe and everybodies just a little weirder than usual. I look up and there's a big bright moon.

  10. sure

  11. Of course it is, though I have to add in here because it makes me laugh...

Neither myself or my best friend believe in most paranormal'y things. But she works as a 999 call handler, and every full moon she says the stats prove they get more crazies on the phone than any other night. So much so they bring in an extra member of staff.

Whether a full moon changes energies or such like I have no idea, but if everyone stayed in every full moon there'd be a lot of very good parties missed!

  12. Generally, it's as safe as any other night.  You just have to pay a bit more attention than usual, since people tend to be more reckless at that time.

  13. There has been a lot of research done on this subject. Conclusive studies show that the activity at hospitals and police departments do not increase on full moons, they are the same as any other night.

The origin of the full moon folklore can not be pinpointed. They have existed for centuries. The word lunatic, also called lunacy, is derived from the latin word lunaticus which is derivative of the word luna, meaning moon.

Anyhow, yes it's safe to go out on a full moon... it's friday the 13th you need to worry about :-)

  14. It's as safe as any other night.  Just remember to maintain street-wise common sense if you choose to go out at night.

  15. They used to say that if you went out bad things happened but i always go out on full moon nights n nothing happends except a creepy light effect from the moon....

  16. no....am afraid you will hurt somebody.

  17. Yes, in fact it will help keep your furniture from getting ruined because werewolves won't have to go into your home to attack you they can just get you while you're outside.

  18. No safer than any other night.

  19. Of course. It's a bit of a superstition. I'm not sure if any Neopagan religions still follow the 'full-moon- beliefs.

  20. safer than not going out at night at a full moon. more light.

  21. No. You'll get bitten by a vampire, then a werewolf will eat your legs and arms. A witch will come on a broomstick and transform you in a headless toad. You will be a able to return to human shape only if you kiss Angelina Jolie on her b***s. Then, Brad Pitt will sue you and you'll have to pay him 1 million dollars. You'll become very poor and you'll live on the streets eating rats, stealing and drinking until you can't get up.

You'll get arrested and you'll go to a high security state penitenciar where you'll get gangbanged by 3 criminals.

You'll lose your beloved ones and when you get out of the prison, you'll go on a bridge with a fine expensive wine and jump down and drown to death.

So... I think it's not to safe to go out on a full moon night. I know a friend who told me what happened to him and it was that bad.

    God bless you!

Edit: You're very welcome. Please, choose my answer as the best. Please, and I'll help you get Angelina.

  22. uhhh yeah...

  23. Well Dr's. deny that the crazies come out during the full moon,I disagree. So I just sit in my back yard and appreciate how beautiful the moon is.

  24. Yes. Carry a gun with a silver bullet or carry your silver fork.

  25. Yes, Just watch out for all the crazy people. I really do believe that the full moon brings out the nut jobs!

  26. Why, You scared? I go out every single night no monsters anywhere. Sheeesh grow up!

  27. Yes and no. I heard a theory that since our bodies are 80% water, and the moon makes the waves, that the moon has pretty much the same effect on us except it is more likely to make us more agitated. So it's likely that someone would beat you up or injure you on a full moon.

  28. Yes, of course it is. The full moon illuminates spaces that are usually dark at night. Besides, moon light is beautiful.
