It's safe to jump.  The unsafe part is the landing!  You need to make sure the trampoline is strong enough, that you land square so you won't bounce off or break your neck or back.

no its not, because there's always a chance of a hole tearing in the trampoline. but i'm not going to lie- i've done it before and ive seen others do it.. but that doesnt make it less risky.

No, you don't know how high you might go or if you will land on the trampoline when you come back down.

the trampoline should take it, but the problem is that you will bounce straight off the trampoline onto the ground and probably break something

When I was in high school a classmate did this, and when he landed on the trampoline, the frame bent and the 3" wide metal pole stuck straight up his a**s and he had to have it surgically removed.

I am not joking in the slightest.
