  1. NO DO NOT DO THIS..

this is why they make battery chargers.... go get one.. they're less then 20 bucks..

last time i saw someone attempt anything liek this was my grandpa, and it was his riding mower and the car... the battery literally exploded... battery acid shot EVERYWHERE including all over him.

  2. Looks like your not sure of what you're doing so the answer to YOU is NO. If someone knows what they're doing then the answer would be yes.

  3. no

  4. Yes, you can. Just be careful.

While it's best to pull and charge the battery, you can still jump it.

There is not a "car charger" made that will "blow up" your battery.

Caution is one thing, mis-information another.

  5. you can do it but the safe way is to not have your car running just hook to the battery that's they way i was always told to do it and have done it with many different things 4wheelers lawn mowers you name and i have probably jump started it but to keep your battery fresh and ready to go you need a battery tender i put one on my harley and it work great storing for winter or just a couple of weeks it don't matter when your ready to ride so is your battery

  6. no defiantly not u cannot jump start any motorcycle best bet is to buy a battery charger for it and make sure u tell them u want it for a motorcycle not a car charger as a car charger will blow up your motorcycle battery also and your motorcycle battery will probably need replacing once it has gone flat it wrecks them. so my advice to u is, buy a new battery, and a battery charger for a motorcycle, and if u don't ride that much go out and start ur bike every now and then, to keep ur battery charged do not let it go flat.i am talking from experience happy bike riding ......

  7. thfirst 5 answerers dont know what they are talking about (as usual)you can jump it from any 12 volt sorce, dont have the other vehicle running when you do it though

  8. 14 volt battery?  Do you mean a 12V battery?  If it is 12 volts, then it is safe to jump start it from a similar vehicle.  They say not to do it from a car because there is too much power, and motorcycles have delicate electronic systems (though I've seen people do it a lot).  If, in fact you do have a 14V battery, you are better off getting the appropriate wall charger for it.  Get a trickle charger.  They keep your battery fresh while you are not out riding.

  9. Push start it. Get it going down a hill and jam her in to 2nd and pop that ol clutch
