  1. It depends on the situation.  If you raised it from a baby then it might be alright. If you found an adult chipmunk I would say no.  The problem with chipmunks and any other small animal in the wild is that they can carry disease.

They are not domesticated like hamsters or gerbils.  Hamsters and gerbils have not lived in the wild and have been bred in captivity for years.  That is what makes them safer as pets.  Well, it could so cool to see little hamsters and gerbils in the wild but you wouldn't find that around here.

  2. Most rodents from the wild are not safe.  I got attacked in Yosemite by a wild (obviously hungry) squirrel.  Those things carry all kinds of diseases.  Like rabies and horrible things.  I would let it go!

  3. NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

  4. They are wild animals so it is not safe for the chipmunk as far as deseases not a good idea either but for its sake if it was wild it needs to stay wild

  5. Totally depends on the situation. Some animal rescue places have chipmunks they found as babies and raised them to adults. But if you just found one, no, i really wouldn't risk it. Take it to an animal shelter or something.

  6. no i hurd that some one got bit and had to go to the hospital and they had to do tests so no dont get a wld one store bot is ok
