  1. Unplug it and leave the door open.  But it shouldn't make a difference wheather there is food or not inside.


  2. Sure it's safe. Why not pull the plug though. Save money, there's not much sense paying to run an empty fridge.  

  3. I would wash it out inside, then leave the door open and unplug it, if I were going to let it go unused for that amount of time. Save some electricity and money.
