Is it safe to like my eight year old slide down the stairs on a tobagon?

So....My 8 year old likes to go down the stairs on a tobogan whenever there is snow outside with his buddy michael, it looks safe because the stair is small and slants down.. But I hope they don't break their necks or something...

I have an alternative.

Rather than a toboggan, my friends and I used to slide down the stairs on a sleeping bag with a pillow under us. This way they would slide slower, which might make you more comfortable. I do think that since they've already done it before you would have a hard time convincing them to stop. If I were you I'd say toboggans are for outside, but sleeping bags are for inside.

If you couldn't then it probaly is not a good idea

they could brake thier necks or they could brake and arm or a leg
