  1. i don't see why it wouldnt be... so yes is your answer

  2. If you're brewing coffee, you want to use cold water.  If you're making instant coffee, then, yes, you can use hot tap water.

  3. No spit it out and go to the hospital

  4. I work at Starbucks and from what they put in the coffee passports (both partner and customer), they recommend brewing coffee by putting cold filtered water into the coffee brewer. My brewer came with a filter that sits on top of the filter. So for quality's sake, I would say that cold water would be best.

  5. as long as you filter it! =0)

  6. Depends on your plumbing. Hot water leaches more minerals from pipes so, if there is lead in your pipes or fixtures, you can ingest higher levels of lead from drinking it.

  7. you could , but it wouldnt taste right.

  8. NO!

Hot tap water should not be used for drinking or cooking.

For drinking or cooking the cold tap water should be let to run for at least one full minute to flush the pipes.

  9. It should not matter if you use tap water from the cold tap or from the hot tap.

Unless of course you plan to run it through a filter or purification system. All filters and purifiers have activated carbon in them and hot water breaks those down.

  10. like on that hotpint advert :P

haha no, it contains metal particles, and might have oil in depending what heater you have,  iwouldnt try it anyway, even if it was just for the laughs

  11. no

  12. It may be safe; however, I think coffee made from filtered water tastes much better.  I have a filtered pitcher and I always make coffee from that.
