  1. I asked this same questions to my eye doctor and he told me it was OK.  I do open my eyes with my contacts on when I'm swimming but not a lot and nothing ever happens to me. My friend had his contacts fall out under water.  It may depend on your eyes and your contacts.  Call your eye doctor and ask if you'd like to know for sure.

  2. i wouldn't  you  could get a piece of dirt or grime from the pool under the lens and also the chlorine is bad 4 your eyes anyway and the contacts would keep it on them much longer +it may damage the lenses

  3. No. You'll be lucky if you don't lose em'. but even if u don't you shouldn't use em again because the clorine will contaminate and damage them

  4. You should never be in a pool while wearing contacts, in the first place- even if you, by a miracle, manage not to get your contacts soaked, you're still exposing them to harmful fumes, to say nothing of the chemicals and bacteria they'll sponge up if you actually get them wet.

  5. Yeah, it may sting a little but that's what goggles are for.
