Is it safe to play a old pc game with my graphics card?

i have just got the game unlimited ride coaster deluxe it is quite a old game and it says it is 8mb for video card i dont know what that means but i have just brought a graphics card beacuse my other one that i had for ages stop working after i played rollercoaster tycoon 3 it made my computer turn off everytime i played the game. will it be ok to play this game?

definately. The good thing about PC, games that are like 20 years old can be played with the right software.

off course buddy.because it says only 8mb of video card acceleration required and you bought a new recent times graphics card which s compatible to recent high graphics oriented games.play this game very frequently man.may go bless you my friend.

8mb graphics cards? wow that game must be old most graphics cards are 512mb these days so chances are you have a 512mb or 256mb.

You can try old games, it shouldn't harm your computer I think though.  There's a compatibility feature on the games under properties I believe to where you can check that information out.

Old games graphics requirements shouldn't effect your current system if you have better graphics etc.  Good luck.
