I can not use the original DC adapter that's 9V 200mA , but I have one that is virtually the same, including polarity but it's 9V 300mA. Is it safe to plug it in (the appliance is a station for wireless headphones-it sends the wireless signal and charges batteries). Thanks in advance

  1. should be ok, i had a phone charger rated at 500mA, and then got another rated at 800mA and it works fine...

  2. I am understanding that the plug end and the cords are identical.  The ONLY difference is 100 ma?  If that be the case the 300 ma unit is okay to use.  The voltage is the important factor not to exceed the 9volts.  Even a 9volt 500 ma would still be okay.
