im replacing my rearend in my fullsize bronco? i went to the junk yard and pulled one out to replace it with. there was two steel blocks under leaf springs 1 was 1" which i also have under my leaf springs to lift it. but the one at the junk yard had two blocks 1, 1" and the other 2 in's i was thinking about putting both the 1in and the 2in under my truck, but i dont want to s***w anything up, am i? i think it would be cool to have the rear end lifted another 2inchs and leave the front the same, but am i going to mess up anything?

  1. Its unsafe to double stack lift blocks, Your gonna have to get a solid block to lift it that high, also if you go to high your going to need to reset your pinion angle. and don't use aluminum blocks. They tend to slip out.

  2. Never stack blocks!. You can  only stack blocks in kindergarten.

  3. You are going to mess up the pinion angle.  One of two ways to fix this.  Take the rear end to a shop and tell them what you are doing.  They will change the angle of the differential and all brackets.   when you jack a vehicle up especially in the rear, it actually shortens the driveshaft.  You will have to have it extended.  Be prepared to change universal joints often.
