  1. Lots of peaple do but it's not recommended because goldfish prefer temperatures in the high 60's and anglefish prefer temperatures in the low 80's.

  2. Yes but if you have a heater be sure it is good for the angelfish.

Angelfish are tropical fish and goldfish are cold watered fish. But goldfish can live in both cold water and warm waters.

  3. No.  Angelfish are tropical and require water in the mid-70'x-low 80's.  Goldfish are cold-water and prefer temps below 65 F.

Angelfish are also very sensitive to water conditions and would get sick, diseased and die if kept with goldfish long.  Goldfish expel a lot of waste which will dirty the water and spike ammonia levels.  They can survive this type of environment for a while, but most tropicals can't.

Rule #1.  Don't keep tropicals and goldfish together.

  4. best not to one is tropical and one is coldwater so when you feed them flakes either fish could eat the wrong kind so they wont contain the correct nutrients fish either fish

also goldfish are fast swimmers so when feeding they goldfish will eat most of the food and also there is a high cance the goldfish will swim fast and knock into the angel fish.

angel fish will nip your goldfishes fin if not now it does get agressive in the future

i seriously would not recommend you do this at all

good luck hope this has helped

  5. I wouldn't because angelfish are tropical freshwater and goldfish are cold freshwater fish. Plus goldfish don't do well in planted tanks as they eat all the plants and are bullish because of their size whereas Angels are slow moving and like a tank that is heavily planted with like saggitaria or vallisenaria. :)
