  1. yes they have way to many people and cameras on the bus if somebody attempts to attack you or something they will almost definitely be caught

  2. The bus itself is generally safe. It is waiting for it that can be dangerous.

  3. yes a lot people do every day and they are even saving money

plus you can relax on the bus as well (you cant do that driving)

  4. Very much so! Just use common sense and be aware of your soroundings and you will be fine! Enjoy the ride!

  5. Yes, generally.

  6. it depends on what city your living..

  7. Oh Good Lord No...  My parents used to put me on a City Bus all by myself when I was in Grade School.  Imagine... a nine year old child riding the bus from the suburbs into the city and back again several times a day all by himself.

come to think of it... I was seven years old when I first began riding the bus all by myself... and I continued to ride the bus well into my twenties.   I've grown to become a cantankerous old fool with far too much time on my hands.  Now that I look back on it and realize that I was riding in such a filthy environment, it is a wonder that I survived at all.  I remember seeing those strange greasy spots on the windows, where people with too much Brylcreme or AfroSheen in their hair rested their heads against the windows and napped as the bus lurched down the road.  I remember kicking those bags of trash left over from a fast food restaurant meal out from under my feet, and under the seat in front of me... seeing those wads of gum stuck to the seat-backs in front of me... watching beer cans and wine bottles come flying out from under the seats and rolling around in the aisles whenever the driver slammed on the brakes to avoid a collision with a car that refused to stop while the bus driver attempted to run another red light to stay on schedule.  I even recall seeing used kleenex on the seat next to me, undoubtedly filled with ebola virus or worse...

I don't know how I survived all those years on a city bus all by myself without ever feeling for one moment that I was in danger.  How could I have been so naieve?  The bus was filled with germs....  big nasty colonies of germs...  yet I continued to ride the bus all alone.

If I were you, I would take someone with you for protection.  Have that person squirt antibacterial hand sanitizer into your palms before you get on the bus.  Make sure they take a big box of sanitizing wipes, and have them wipe the seat down three times before you even think about sitting down.  Make sure they wash down the window... the arm rests... and sweep any disgusting trash out from under the seat as well.  If your city bus is particularly dirty, I suggest you take along a second person to mop the floors ahead of you with a strong bleach solution.  Just to make sure, have someone fit you with a surgical mask just like Michael Jackson wears in public as well... you can't take chances on a City Bus...  life is too short.

  8. No.  It's not safe to do anything alone.
