I want to know if there is something I can do to alert bears and snakes that I am running. I don't want to sneak up on one and it attack me. At the same time I don't want to yell " Yo BEAR" like bear grylls says to do. Any ideas?

  1. If you are in bear territory you might be better off not running.

Some people have used bells, like a cow bell so you do not frighten the bear by sneaking up on it.

Usually bears will stay away from people, and run away if they hear you coming.

I would ask a ranger about the bears before I ran in the forest or on a trail.

  2. IT DEPENDS IF U NO WHERE U ARE GOINNG
