Is it safe to sell stuff on Craig's List??

I'm planning to sell some clothing/accessories on Craig's List, but I know it's not as safe as e-bay in terms of protection and all that. Do you typically meet with the people you sell to and exchange product/money face to face? I just don't want to have to ship something off somewhere and then never get paid for it....

SInce it is local to where you are, it is pretty safe.  I have sold several things off Craig's list and also bought.  I ONLY deal in cash.  When someone is going to purchase something make sure they know it is cash only, never accept a check.  I haven't had any problems!

When selling items off from Craigslist, yes you should meet the buyer face to face. You shouldn't even think about doing any type on transaction with a buyer who's out of state, unless they plan to meet you face to face.
