I'm on Sprintec for my endometriosis and I'm just wandering if it's ok to skip the reminder pills and continue on with taking the birth control pills instead so I don't have my period? Will anything bad happen if I do this?

  1. Yes, in fact they often have women with endometriosis go on continuous birth control which is what this is called and never have periods. However, you may still have some bleeding the first time you skip your period week. If you just want to change the week your period continues you should do that ahead of the date if possible.

  2. It's prob safe.. I do it all the time and so do many friends of mine.. my doctor told me it was fine.. I could do it for up to 3 months in a row.. after that, have your period the following month and then your good to go again.. if your worried about it.. check with your doctor.. but you should be fine :)
