  1. No, people have varying degrees of sensitivity and sleeping pills can depress your respiratory function. You will also be deadening your senses and may not be able to awake if there was an emergency such as a fire, flood, earthquake, or even to respond to the need of a loved one. It can also have terrible long lasting side effects of grogginess that just wont go away and muddled thinking which makes you more likely to have an accident.

I'm sorry you can't sleep. I would suggest taking to an MD that is a DO as they take your whole environment into account, or an herbalist, acupuncturist, or even a masseuse.

Make sure you exercise early in the day, cut caffeine by noon and eat some good healthy carbs to induce rest.

  2. It takes a lot to overdose. And there's always a chance of you surviving and being a vegetable for the rest of your life or severely disabled.

Taking 3 sleeping pills is probably not the recommended amount but it won't kill you.

  3. Are you thinking about suicide ?  That is even more stupid than doing drugs.  Get some help my friend .

  4. Just take what is recommended. Overdose on sleeping pills is usually over 5 tablet and it puts people into a zombie state for an extended period of time.

  5. It depends on the pill.
