Is it safe to take expired medicine: specifically pepto, which expired 3 months ago.

It has been opened before. Can I take it or will it make it worse? It's the middle of the night and I would hate to drive out to the drug store if it is unnecessary.

i would suggest the pills, but i'm assuming you ran out?

I'm not a doctor, but Pepto Bismo is not a strong medicine.  I really doubt it will hurt you.  I would try it, and if it doesn't help, then take the drive to the drug store.
