Is it safe to take hydrocodone,motrin, and ativan together?

i have anxiety so i take .5mg of ativan twice a day now yesterday i broke my foot so i have to take 2 500mg 5mg hydrocodones twice a day and motrin 600mg three times a day. is it alright to take all of those meds together? i know the hydrocodone and motrin are safe together but im not sure about the ativan. what could some side affects be from taking all of those together?

Hydrocodone can make some people feel alittle whoozie. Did you MD say that you had to take the ativan twice daily or is it just as needed? You could call your local pharmacy and they could answer that for you. Just dont be driving when you are taking those hydrocodone or ativan. Feel better.

Ativan (lorazepam) and hydrocodone (Moderate Drug-Drug)

MONITOR: Central nervous system- and/or respiratory-depressant effects may be additively or synergistically increased in patients taking multiple drugs that cause these effects, especially in elderly or debilitated patients.

Apparently, Motrin does not interact with these medicines.

MANAGEMENT: During concomitant use of these drugs, patients should be monitored for potentially excessive or prolonged CNS and respiratory depression. Ambulatory patients should be counseled to avoid hazardous activities requiring complete mental alertness and motor coordination until they know how these agents affect them, and to notify their physician if they experience excessive or prolonged CNS effects that interfere with their normal activities.

I just wanted to stop by and tell you motrin may not be safe.  My mom took it for arthritis and developed kidney disease which they said was cause by the motrin.  This led to 2 years of suffering on dialysis, 9 hearts attacks in a year directly related to the dialysis (which increase heart attacks 30 times) and died in great agony this year

Noone every told her that motrin could do this and damage her kidneys so beware of these type anti inflammatory drugs..go to something natural instead IMO

for anxiety naturally, kava-kava and rescue remedy are often used.  You should read Dr Breggin's book on these powerful brain drugs and the many dangers of them..his books are on ebay and everyone taking any drug for a mental problems should read his books first.

As far as interactions amongst these drugs, I am not sure but wanted to let you know this info, so someone told you the dangers of taking motrin unlike my mom who never had a clue and as a result ruined her life.
