Is it safe to take pictures in a plane when landing/taking off?

coz I kept hearing that it's forbidden, but then lots of people do it

for example:

taking pictures of the landscape when taking off and etc.

lol i remember i went to japan/philippines and when i was about to land....i wanted to take pictures...but the announcer or w/e said that we cant turn on any electronic devices...so ya i was sad when i couldn't do it :[

you can take photos, coz you only have to turn off devices that will send out a signal and your camera isn't doing that.

besides the cabin staff with tell you what's ok anyway, so do it until someone says not to.

you can probably take pictures when the plane is landed and coming to a stop. but not before then and not after the pilot says turn off all electronic devices.
