Is it safe to time travel?

I recently got my flux capacitor in the mail from craigslist and just finished building my time machine, and was wondering if its safe to travel back in time to fight off Evil Lincoln and his faithful accomplice's.

Are you talking about a game or real life?  If it's real life then I don't think it'll be safe to time travel.
