absolutely....never mind noobs who saying the world will end if u do so ...f...just run scan later ..........been using p2p for years and years i always shut down all anti/ plus firewall .... no problems never had a virus etc........f... noobs..........

that is the riskiest thing you can do...

i definately do not suggest you do that...not for any reason...ever..

if you need better performance go the safe route and buy more ram..

Before you do it make sure there are no infections detected in previous scans & make sure you disconnect internet before you turnoff your security.

For my standard, I will never turn off my protection in any circumstances any time. It's not worth it to sacrifice the protection for a game
