Is it safe to unninstall nvidia driver from control panel like will the screen still show?

  1. Don't uninstall unless you're changing video cards. On the other hand if you are changing to like Omega drivers, then yes uninstall your Invidia drivers, then install the Omega drivers.


  2. yeah the screen will still show but why would you want to do that in the first place? lots of other things will not run. don't uninstall ANY drivers unless you have a good reason to and you're repairing something or something along the lines of that...

    you can also just upgrade it from nvidia's website (without uninstalling it) if that is what you're trying to do

  3. No, it's fine, most computers come with a default graphics driver on your motherboard.

    So when you uninstall the driver from your NVIDIA card, the default driver will kick in (although it will probably look worse).

    This is ONLY true if your graphics card is SEPARATE from the motherboard (as in, you bought it or had it installed separately).
