im running a 0 guage wire from battery to my trunk to a distributer block that will power a 900rms amp at 2 ohms, and a smaller 240 watts amp for inner speakers. is the 0 guage safe? it is running directly to a distribution block, from the other end of the block a 4 guage powers the 900 rms amp and 8 guage for the smaller amp.

  1. 0 ga wire from your battery to your distribution block is fine, nothing wrong what so ever with that. 4 ga out from the distribution block is fine as well. That is actually the recomended wire ga for anything under 1500 watts.

  2. A little overkill, but o.k..Just make sure you have it fused to the amp power rating and not the wire rating.

  3. thats fine for 900 rms you dont really need 0ga wire inless its in a big suv depending on how long it is you might beable to get enough power out of a 4 and work fine personal i have 0ga all threw my car but i also have a 1500 rms amp and a 400 rms for my treble
