Is it safe to use 2700mah 1.2v AAA batteries in a home phone that came with 700mah 1.2v AAA batteries?

The phone has it's own charging dock base as opposed to a seperate charger unit for the batteries

  1. Yes, they are just capable of delivering more current to the device, but the device will only draw what it needs and will last longer per charges.


  2. 700mah or milliamp hours is the capacity rating for the battery.  2700mah will simply give you a longer time that the phone can operate between charges.  The charger base should still work properly.  

    NiMH batteries are much better than NiCad batteries but Li-ion batteries are better still, but you are going to pay for the difference.

  3. Sure you could use them, but will they fit.???
