Is it safe to use a photo darkroom during pregnancy?

I have a photo class where we will be using a darkroom. Could this be any harm to the baby?

The chemical smell could do some harm if you inhale alot of it. I would wear a mask.

Absolutly NOT!  Do not even enter any dark room, in fact, for the next nine months keep every light in the house on, ALWAYS.  Oh yah, and don't do drugs.
