  2. I doubt it will protect anything it probably just won't stick to the surface and rub off.

    Silly guy

  3. yeh

get the hamsters out with their little sponges and buckets

    ready for washing!

  4. yup im pretty sure! :)

  5. it  probably wont skrew the car so yeah you probably could

  6. Wax doesn't destroy paint, but it probably won't protect the paint in the way you are looking for. Wax protects the paint underneath from the elements such as UV rays/sunlight, rain, and snow. Chips are not caused by these elements, but by dirt and rocks, and quite often on Hot Wheels, kids. If you have the toy on display in your window, sure wax will protect against sunfade over time. But if you want your kids to play with it, DON'T WAX IT.

If you are worried about "future value", don't. The cars made today are so massively overproduced that for every one that a kid is playing with there are 20 in the hands of collectors still new in package. I have cars over 10 years old still new in package that I can't even get the original $1 back for.

  7. Why would you do that?  Are you going to leave them out in the rain?

I'm sure it's safe, but there really is absolutely no point in doing that.

Just keep them either in the original packaging, or, barring that, some sort of display case and just dry dust them when needed.

Waxing them won't serve any purpose, and most likely will have an effect on the value of the car.
