wat would happen to your eye if a ball, elbow or something hit u in the eye or close to it? can you become blind from it? can you seriously damage your eye if that happens?

  1. it is safe

no - worst is bleeding inside

    no infection while playing

  2. Totally

  3. Well, people who have normal eye sight have the same problems, so the chances of it are slim but sure you could possibly get a black eye if a ball hits you in it :).

Yes it is easier to get eye infection when playing sports since usually your hands get dirty (especially if you're playing in the mud) and when you rub your eyes you might get an infection. Just refrain from rubbing your eyes until you get cleaned up.

  4. I got contacts when I was 17 and it has so helped me.  I incresed my peripheral vision and my eyesight overall.  There are no glasses to get knocked off and break.  Contacts today don't just pop out of your eye nor are they hard enough to hurt your eye if you get smacked with a ball.  I even swim with my contacts and a pair of goggles.  Just make sure you clean your contacts well after you swim!

  5. Yes, in fact people switch to contacts just for the very reason of sports. The basketball will not hit your eye and damage it just because there is a contact lens there trust me. This is perfectly safe and i would recommend  switching to contacts if you are tired of coke bottle glasses, i use to were contacts but they were a pain in the *** for me, but im just stubborn like that i hope you  come to like them better than i did.

  6. yes it is very safe while doing sport. Sum even wear it for diving.

  7. it's better to use contacts. Glasses get broken so easily in contact sports I found out the hard way, even flexons and "sport" glasses. With contacts since the lens is on your eye you have better pherifial (side) vision which is really important in sports. To sum things up don't worry about the possibly negatives, lens' benifits out weight the possible problems.

  8. no thats why people get contacts... so they don't break they're glasses playing sports. Imagine what swimmers do.. if they open their eyes under water? The contacts are still fine.

  9. noooo it's all good,,,
