I have this mineral order reducer (looks like little pebbles) that you're supposed to sprinkle under bedding. its made specifically for hamsters and reducing urine smells (which my hamster has this problem) but im afraid that when she goes to dig a bed to sleep she'll find them and try to eat them because they're small pieces. do you think it's safe? its said its all natural so maybe if she eats it it wont hurt her? has anyone ever tried this product?

  1. ALL kinds of bedding and stuff like that is safe for  animals so IF you hamster eats it she will be fine

i have the same stuff for my hamster and she eats it kinda ans shes fine :D

  2. I don't think so!

  3. I would not recommend anything that has minerals. Most mineral bedding and licks include high amounts of sodium, which is not very good for your hamster, or any rodent for that matter. I'd recommend CareFresh for your hamster.

There is a CareFresh that smells like lavender and is absorbent, so the urine will most likely be absorbed by this.
