Is it safe to use plastic #5 (pp) for my lukewarm green tea?

I love to drink green tea. I also bring it to my office, and I put my green tea on a plastic (#5 PP) bottle. Is it ok to this kind if plastic (#5 PP)for this purpose?

  1. It is not recommended to reuse plastic bottles to store hot or warm beverages.

    Stay on the safe side and use a glass bottle, or get a Thermos cup.
