  1. yes, that should be fine

  2. Yes as long as the wire isn't bare.

  3. yes, but remember not to bundle up the power cords too much as it does generate heat and could still cause a fire and if it is internet cables there is cross talk to worry about, but if it is like something else then no probs Peace

  4. Actually they sell these wire ties in electronics department.  Try those.

  5. Rubberbands will dryrot. I use electrical tape and tape my cords together. The stay more secure but between the 2 you mentioned...twist ties.

There is also plastic tubing to place all of them inside. Like you see under your hood for the spark plug wires.

  6. Yes its fine but they hace really cool velcro straps you can buy from blackbox or prolly any elec store... that can easily and qwuikly open and lock on the chords, i love them!

  7. Yep, it's safe.  I've got 2 large boxes full of electrical stuff bundled up like that - not to mention all the cables at the back of my computer and tv/stereo/video/amp.  Zip/cable ties are best, but if you don't have any just improvise.  The only problem is that rubber bands will perish over time.  Won't cause any electrical problems though.

  8. It's safest to use ty-wraps.  They're sold at all hardware stores and are pretty inexpensive.  If your cords are cracked at all and you wrap a twist-tie around them that has a metal wire center, it could short out.

    Bzzzztttt!!

    Better to be safe.

  9. I think that twist ties will be better in my opinion.
