  1. Yes, but it is cheaper to use dishwashing liquid.  Make sure you rinse well though.

  2. In the dishwasher, or by hand?

Prolly a bad idea either way.  Dishwasher liquid has bleach to sanitize the dishes, and is formulated to work in that machine.  I can't think of any really good reasons not to, other than it seems kinda icky to me.  :)

  3. I am 59 yrs old, my grandmother raised me and she used Tide for EVERYTHING, including the dishes, none of us died.

  4. Assuming you are hand washing, Tide has been used for generations.  Not all had dishwashers 30 years ago, and we kept very few cleaning products.  Before 409 and Oxyclean, Tide and Cheer solved a lot of cleaning problems!  When you are camping or moving, ingenuity requires some creative solutions.  Just use a small amount, and rinse well.  Rubber gloves will be helpful, as there are caustic sodas in Tide.

  5. No.  Tide is for clothes.  Sorry.

  6. As long as you don't use too much Tide and rinse well.

  7. yes it is

  8. yes you can....many years ago people didnt buy dish soap they used less than a palm full of clothes soap to do their dishes...i had a friend when i was a kid that that is what her mother still used....i found that odd...but if you need to do it..do it ..do not add it to the dishwasher though...only by hand
