Is it safe to view any website in the internet?

Is it that safe to view any website on the internet when you have antivirus. I have avg internet security 2008 and I update it everyday.

Definitely not. An anti-virus only protects against one element of evil. There are scripts that load spyware and download other programs, none of which are technically viruses. I am always cautious when I sit down to surf. Avoid the seedier side of the web if you can and watch out particularly for sites from Russia and China.

Aslong as it's the full Security Suite & not just a antivirus, and you have a Firewall, then yeah
