  1. dude, kansas city is not freaking iraq it is safe in some parts (where i live) there are a lot of states much worse california, new york, so yeah. and fred what the heck is your prob!?!?!?!??!?!? we are not all blacks hes just a racist jerk there a murders everywhere kansas city is a good city

  2. OK....lets be serious here Kansas City is like any other city when it comes to violence and being safe.  It has it's "less safe" parts of town and it's "more safe" parts of town.  However, overall KC is not a bad place to visit.  There are many fun things to do while there.  As far as illegal guns, they are everywhere not just Kansas City.

  3. lol  dude it is perfectly safe!  just don't stop off off i-70 after you go through the city...that is the worst part of town...have dinner at strouds and hodge park on 152 is a cool old pioneer village...for night life...the brick is a dive punk bar...lots of good parks!

  4. Kansas City is as safe as any other bigger city.  Yes their are murders and illegal guns, but you will find that in every city in the US.  You can tell by your surroundings if you are in a good area or deep in the hood.  Just be aware, if you think you are in a bad spot, just go somewhere else.  I am just a little white woman and I have spent lots of time in K.C. MO at night and daytime, in my car and walking, with friends and alone.  I have never had one problem.  But if you see hookers, stay away, most of them are men anyway.

  5. no. there are blacks

  6. As opposed to thousands of legal guns?

  7. Ok lets be serious, we are talking about Kansas City, not L.A., Chicago, or Houston.  You will be ok, most so called bad areas are typically fine during the day.  If you feel unsafe Kansas and Missouri both honor other states conceal and carry license if you have a chl.  I went there this year and I am from S.A. Texas, I never felt threatened or really even the need to Carry every one was real nice and more than helpful.  KC is definitely worth the visit.

  8. Be sure you have a map! I have driven in dozens of major cities, and I learned to drive first in LA, but I have only been lost twice-in Boston and KC. Just like LA if you get off the wrong exit you could get in trouble. Otherwise there were some great places to visit.
