yes ball caps my mom washes my dads in washer all the time and puts them on a empty coffee can to dry so they don't loose there shape good luck

I put hats on the top rack of my dishwasher, remove before it dries, works great.

Ball cap?  Most wash well and can be dried in the dryer. Special plastic frames are available, so they hold their shape .

If you dont have the hat rack for you cap you can still wash it in the washing machine just take it out before you dry it. It should hold its shape fairly well depending on what you washed it with. If you need to reshape it (being wet will make shaping it easier) then set it out to dry. My brother use to bend the bill of his cap over a baseball and use a rubber band to hold it there and let it dry that way. Your bill will stay curved that way. If the main part of the hat is stiff and needs to be shaped just put another hat under it while its drying that will help it to hold the shape.

Don't wash plastic caps but cotton caps are alright to wash.

ball cap or the cap for the laundry detergent? the answer to both is yes. A baseball cap might be colorfast and you should get a cap keeper washing cage for it otherwise it could loose its shape. A ball cap should be washed in cold water on the gentle cycle and then air dried. If this is in regards to the laundry detergent cap, then yes its usually fine. Just don't put it in the dryer. it might loose some shape if its the flexible clear plastic kind
