  1. As my scuba instructor pointed out--"If it sparkles, shines or reflects light...YOUR SHARK BAIT!"

    Dr. Tommy Skelton

  2. No- too much chance of losing them.

Times have changed, but in the old days a woman would never wear diamond jewelry (except an engagement ring) out in the countryside or on a casual occasion like going to the beach.

  3. If it's in the ocean i'm not sure.. don't ever wear earrings while swimming in chlorine water!  They'll get stuck in your ears and your they'll become very dry..

I wouldn't take the risk of losing your jewelry especially if they're diamonds!  If you lose jewelry in the water you won't feel them floating off of you.  I just wouldn't do it just to be on the safe side... =)

  4. Personally, I wouldn't.  You've got enough to keep up with when snorkeling.  Worrying about losing jewelry is distracting.  Besides, it's generally not smart to wear conspicuous jewelry when on vacation any way.  Leave the "large diamonds" and earrings at home.

  5. I wouldn't risk it. You don't want to get entangled in anything.

  6. It's best not to wear any type of jewelry. Your risk a high chance of loosing them in the water. The salt in the water can cause yours settings to become weak so you will easily loose the diamonds out of your rings.
