Is it safe to wire neon lights to my amp?

I have a JL Class D monoblock amp powering 2 8800 thunder MTX subs would it be safe to connect neon lights to my + and - slots on my amp or will that cause some technical problems?

i would not do it. you are taking away power from the amp. also the fuse rating of the power wire is probably way to high, unless you install another one after the amp and b4 the lights. i would just run new wires. then if something does go wrong, you cant mess the amp up in anyway.
