Currently I owe unicorn-honda bike. Many times I felt it would be better if I had a Multi season(rainy inc) vehicle, and which has lot of space to carry luggage.

And despite of having bike, i spent around 300Rs bucks quite a bit of times to travel 6-10 kms.

My question is would it be worthy to buy a M800, under 70k bucks, (& or fixed with LPG). I would need the car to travel trouble free for 2000 overall kms with/without simple repairs. i.e. the car should move&breaks should work.considering this requirement, can I get a M800 under 70k bucks, fulfilling all these.....??

please suggest...

  1. it's not safe. It's better to go for another one.Now days car rates are getting down.

  2. Dude with Rs.70,000 you can easily get a used zen or esteem which are more refined , hav more space better engines.and they have image compared to the Maruti 800.

Go for a 95-97 esteem with music system thrown in.

  3. its not a better option

u shud try an old santro its spacious and u can get an lpg kit for it

  5. You should be able to get an 800 around 50,000/- and a good one.You can get LPG kit fitted, but make sure it is approved and you are able to get it registered on your RC.The Gas cylinder (Black type) can hold 3 refils of domestic LPG (14.2kg). One domestic cylinder takes your M 800 275kms (min) so it works out the cheapest. To transfer the gas a Chinese make pump is available which can transfer one domestic refil to your Gas Tank in a couple of minutes.

    Happy motoring

  6. well you can get a Very old Maruthi 800 car for 70k...that will drink lots of petrol and maintenance cost also will be a thing to watch out for.. i dont think its worth it.. anyways why not wait for some days for the Tata Nano if you really want to upgrade

  7. i would suggest that if you u r looking for maruti 800 you would get a old one which would be filled with lots of problem and might cost well over 10000Rs i would suggest to go for zen its better than maruti and have a bit bigger engine which would help a lot or if were you i would wait for TATA nano to come out but the thing is it wont even have the radio so there u would have to sacrifice the feature in nano
