  1. It's not scary at all, although now a days you can't go to the top due to security reasons, you can only go as far as the restaurant.

  2. It is not scary to go up the eiffel tower. It doesn't get scary until you are up there at the top looking at the view. It's even scarier on a windy day. If you're afraid of heights, I don't recommend it. If heights don't bother you, it's an awesome view of Paris.

  3. I was very scared when I went up the Eiffel Tower the first time. It's not like going up elevators in other buildings because when you go up the elevator in the Eiffel Tower, it's like going up in a cable car. You're not closed in the building because it's just a metal structure, so the elevators are like outside. When you get to the top, there are 2 levels. There's the closed-in level which is pretty comfortable and not very scary at all. Then there's the level on top of that which is entirely outside with a big cage around it and that is very scary. You can feel the wind on your skin and everything.

If you go up it at night you'll see the spotlights that they shine. When you look at the light, you can see the light ends at a certain spot which is freaky and kind of makes ya dizzy... When I was up there I saw people crying cause they were so scared, but most people weren't too bad.

  4. no, it's cool !

  5. It wasnt that bad at all.  The elevators are all enclosed like a cable car, but unlike those, or even regular elevators, they are not entirely suspended on cables.  They have cog ratchets that catch gears so they are somewhat attached to the structure itself.

At the top is enclosed, and view is amazing - just a big room.  You can go out on the deck, but it is enclosed up to chest level or higher with fencing, so you know you won't just pitch over.   The only part that spooked me a bit was looking over the first time.  It IS a very long way down.  But looking straight out at the beautiful city of lights is well worth the apprehension!

  6. Probably! It's pretty high but the view is worth being a little scared.

  7. Probably not, it doesn't get any scarier after the second viewing deck, once you've reached the top you will have settled into the heights. I think the elevators may be the scariest part, they look like they are the original ones and they're gonna break or something.
