Is it scary that Tiger played horrible and still placed second?

I mean most PGA pros are happy to consistently get in the top 10 even at regular events.

I can't believe how many easy putts Tiger missed, and the rest of his game still ensured runner-up! wow!

He didn't play "horrible", he was even par on Sunday and only one or two were under par that day.  Conditions were difficult with the high winds.  Immelman won the tournament because he controlled his ball, his emotions, and had a good lead starting the round.

What the problem is...All the other golfer are average at best..Have you ever noticed for the most part Its always someone different winning other then tiger...Over the last 5 years especially..A simple way of seeing this is the american ryder cups teams the last few times..They have been beaten badly by the european teams of no-namers...So you add that all up to what?...A bunch of average golfers ..and Tiger..He has no rival...or rivals...Trust me..Tiger most likely will one major this year,and the others will be won by guys you will say..who is this guy..Just like tevor immelman...just like zack johnson..just like....anyways..theres my pont of view...

Well, that's the greatness of Tiger.  He wins with his "B" game and contends in majors with his "C" game.

woods is just another overhyped american sportsman by the american media! he is another andy roddick.. im just glad a non-american has won the major. the PGA championship should be given to china and make it the china open. the US already has 3 of the 4 majors n it should be reduced to just the masters n US open. awesome trevor immelman!!! go the non-americans,let the americans settle for runner ups on their own backyard.

Tiger could have been tired or his game may have just been off.  He could have had something else on his mind.

To you, Dragon Pow, Tiger Woods maybe overhyped or not, but he is still the greatest golfer anyone has known.  Even Jack (whom Tiger admires) think so.  You may be glad that someone else won and that is your right, but we ALL know that on any given day some one loses.  We ALL know that had Tiger had another  day, he probably would have won the event.  But enough of that.  Since you compared him to Andy Roddick, I will compare him to Serena  when she was runner up and said her  "$700+ would be a million."

Mr. Immelman may have won the $1.3 million dollars, but you can bet your pretty or ugly ,,./? that Tigers' $780 thousand will be a million before the week is out.

Yeah i know. It just shows how good he really is. I watched all of the masters today and i thought he had not played that well then i looked at the standings and he was one of the few to shoot even for the day. If he had done better the other days he easily could have won. I give credit to Tiger for the way he played and finished. Hopefully he will win next year.
