  1. I would say so.  It is called the "Law of Bio-genesis".

  2. there's an experiment, the Miller-Urey experiment, which simulated hypothetical conditions present on the early Earth and tested for the occurrence of chemical evolution. Specifically, the experiment tested Oparin and Haldane's hypothesis that conditions on the primitive Earth favored chemical reactions that synthesized organic compounds from inorganic precursors.

after 1 week, they found that 10-15% the carbon from the inorganic chemicals now were in the form of organic compounds. Two percent of the carbon had formed amino acids, including 2-3 of the 22 that are used to make proteins in living cells. Sugars, lipids, and some of the building blocks for nucleic acids were also formed.

there is a ton more here:

  3. Yeah. They haven't found it yet, but like religious people say, just because you can't prove it doesn't make it false.

To all the people not understanding your question- TheRe is NO recipie (thus far) for making something come to life if the ingredients do not have life to begin with. There are theories so far, but nothing substantial.

Building blocks does not equal life from nonliving.

I not a religious minded person and just want everyone to understand the facts.

  4. no

  5. Absolutely not.  Indeed it is essentially a fact that life formed from nonliving things at least once.

  6. You are talking about "Spontaneous Generation".

It is not scientifically proven because the scientific method wasn't used.

  7. Ugh no, life is just a collection of non living things. What the h**l did you think we were made of? Magic and unicorn spit? We are made up of carbon, prosperous, hydrogen, oxygen, and several other elements. If you could arrange said elements in the right way you could easily create organic life. They've already made artificial rna (which is like dna). So no it is not scientifically proven that you cannot create life from nonliving things.

  8. Nope.  Quite the contrary - it's been shown that you can create the first building blocks of life from simple chemicals, in a fairly small reaction vessel over a pretty short period of time.

  9. so far yes.

  10. Everything is already alive.

Atoms are jumping around everywhere, it's just that the human eye can not pick up their movements (we can only see a certain size of matter. We can't see the Universe as a whole, and we also can not see the micro Universe just beneath ours).

I wonder if the 5-dimensional beings assume we are dead simply because we look so flat to them?

  11. There are plenty of Abiogenesis theories, no "protocell" yet.

Still I say we have plenty of life on this earth if not through out the universe, so where do they come from?
