And I don't mean like, by tricking them into waiting or anything. Think more long the lines of filling their time with stuff that is important to you, but is a waste of their time, even if they don't mind.

  1. Everybody has the freedom to waste his time like he wants.

For sure there are many influences, but still everyone has the right to decide to do whatever he wants with his time.

If somebody decides to waste his time on you or stuff related to you, it's his choice. He finds you worth it, or else he won't be doing it.

Not to feel guilty, you can spend some of your time taking care of him or doing what he wants or likes.

Remember, it's his choice to spend his time as he wanrts, not yours, so feel free.

  2. I tend to end up feeling like i'm wasting my 17 year old sisters time all the time i've with her, i feel terribly guilty about it in fact. Because my sister does have a few friends who she could be spending time with but because i don't have any friends and spend alot of time at home i want her to stay at home with me instead of going to see her friends, because she keeps me company. I'm 20, but have a mental age closer to 15. I ask her about it, and she says she doesn't mind but i can see she feels frustrated by me. I feel like we always do what i want to do because all the time she is with me she feels repressed.
